Juice or Smoothie 101

A lot of folks worry that following a specific whole plant food diet doesn’t tick off all of the boxes needed to get the proper nutrients in for the day.  I create my juices to give a wide array of colorful fruits and vegetables in liquid form to complement the other foods eaten during the feeding window.

It is best to drink the juice with a meal in the hopes that the fiber content of that meal will slow the rapid absorption of the juice to try to put any blood sugar spikes at bay.
