Spicy Shallot Dressing
Hold on to your sack here comes a mouthful. That’s what….. oh never mind. I love this dressing for lighting things up. You are going to get a mouthful of sharp, acidic, and fiery spankings to the tongue with this one.
I am not sure who is in charge of turning the jalapenos red, but that prick is making money hand over fist. $6 a pound where I live. Green ones are only about a $1 per pound. Anyway there is a difference for sure and if you try it just once I think you will think so as well. If you don’t and you just want the flavor, but are into color perhaps add a small amount of red bell pepper to get some red going on in this recipe.

Spicy Shallot Dressing
Ingredients
- ¼ cup shallot minced
- 1 red jalapeno chopped (or pick you’re your favorite pepper by level of heat)
- 3 cloves garlic chopped
- ½ cup red wine vinegar
- ¼ cup cilantro chopped
- ¼ cup parsley chopped
- 2 Tbsp oregano chopped (1 Tbsp if using dried)
- ¾ cup best veggie broth
Instructions
- Bowl it up and stir like you’re in a churning contest, or put in blender and pulse a few times.
