The Dandelion Juice or Smoothie
These bitter little fuckers are packed with vitamins and there is a gang of good shit they do. A shit ton of beta carotene to protect against oxidative stress. Dandelion greens have strong ass antioxidants which, as most know by now, kick free radical ass. And don’t worry, this won’t be a bitter pill to swallow.
You will notice a lot of the same players in all of my juice/smoothie recipes. When I come across a new item that will be the feature of the juice. For this one, it happens to be Dandelion greens.

The Dandelion Juice or Smoothie

Equipment
- Juicer (for juice)
- Blender (for smoothie)
Ingredients
- 1 cup celery chopped
- 1 cup dandelion greens
- 1 cup cucumber
- 1 radish
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 jalapeno pepper
- 2 inches ginger
- 2 inches turmeric
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup blue berries
- 1 Tbsp fresh flat parsley
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- For juice, run everything except the pepper through the juicer
- For a smoothie, blend everything except the pepper
- Pour into a mason jar, then stir in the pepper
